Say what you want about the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones, but there's no doubt that those phones are thin. Samsung has somehow mastered the art of squashing all of its powerful hardware into ridiculously thin cases, and honestly, I thought the company had nailed it. Well, it seems the company took that as a challenge, as it has just revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge and...it's even thinner. Somehow.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge somehow sheds even more width

In an emailed press release, Samsung went over what makes the Galaxy S25 Edge so interesting. Turns out, the company has figured out how to squash even more hardware into even less space, meaning these phones are now super thin:

Crafted with style and strength in mind, Galaxy S25 Edge strikes a new balance of premium, pro-level performance in a resilient titanium frame only 5.8mm thick. S25 Edge delivers on the S series legacy, integrating an iconic Galaxy AI-enabled camera and unleashing a new realm of creativity in an effortlessly portable device.

The thin frame means that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge only weighs around 163 grams, which makes this a sure-fire winner for anyone who likes their devices thin and lightweight.

That's not to say that the phone is lacking in the hardware department as a result. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy which helps power the phone's many AI features. And its thinness doesn't mean it's easy to break either, with the screen sporting Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 technology to keep things intact.

Samsung states that you can preorder your Galaxy S25 starting today on "Amazon, Best Buy, and Samsung.com, and from carriers nationwide." The phone will see a proper release on May 30th, 2025. The device costs $1,099.99 for the 256GB storage option and $1,219.99 for 512GB, and comes in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue color options.
