Meta Infotech IPO opens today: All you need to know before subscribing

Meta Infotech opened its initial public offering (IPO) for subscription today aiming to raise Rs 80.18 crore through a fresh issue and offer for sale. The IPO, which closes on July 8 comprises a fresh issue of 12.45 lakh shares aggregating to Rs 20.04 crore and an offer for sale of 37.35 lakh shares worth Rs 60.13 crore.

The company has set the price band at Rs 153–161 per share. Bids can be placed for a minimum lot of 800 shares.

Meta Infotech has already raised Rs 22.58 crore from anchor investors on July 3. The company will be listed on the BSE SME platform with tentative listing scheduled for July 11.

Hem Securities is the lead manager for the issue, while Kfin Technologies is the registrar. Hem Finlease is the market maker.

Founded in 1998, Meta Infotech offers end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, including cloud security, identity and access management, and endpoint protection. The company serves industries like banking, IT, insurance, and manufacturing, and is an authorised reseller for several global cybersecurity OEMs.

For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, the company reported revenue of Rs 220.02 crore and profit after tax of Rs 14.50 crore, marking a 44% and 38% year-on-year growth.

Meta Infotech plans to use the IPO proceeds for repayment of debt, setting up new office infrastructure, an interactive experience centre, and for general corporate purposes.
