The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has been one of my favorite GPUs this year, but I’ve only recommended it with two caveats — get the 16GB model (8GB isn’t enough) and only if it’s at (or below) retail price.
Now, those caveats are gone. For the first time, it’s dipped below MSRP: the PNY RTX 5060 Ti OC 16GB is just $379 at Walmart, $50 off its launch price.
Yes, Walmart may say you’re saving $219, but that’s on the overinflated price way over MSRP. The real news here is this is the first time in the history of this GPU that the price you pay has fallen below the launch price.
At this price, you’re getting a monster of a card. You’ll find stellar game performance at 1080p and 1440p through raw rendering, and with the AI trickery of DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, you can see those frames start to skyrocket.

Even better? You can use that AI arsenal to achieve 4K path-traced gameplay that is comfortably over 100 FPS — something that is seriously impressive in a $379 card. Now I know the initial concerns that come with that, and no, there is no telltale image ghosting that you normally see when the machine learning algorithm is trying to predict the next frames.
To those who have been waiting for the moment GPUs stop being so damn expensive, now is that time.
