Nvidia is giving away a month (or two) of Adobe Creative Cloud subscription time, with a catch

As spotted by VideoCardz, the Nvidia App has been updated with a new reward. If you own an RTX 30 or 40 GPU, you'll get one free month of Adobe Creative Cloud. Meanwhile, if you own an RTX 50 GPU, Nvidia will treat you to two free months instead.
It's a pretty big deal, as Adobe Creative Cloud goes for $54.99 a month, and that's if you subscribe for a whole year. It's a nice way to give the suite a try without spending a penny, and even owners of older GPUs can get in on the offer. Unfortunately, if you used the service in the past and want to use this offer as a free monthly recharge, you're out of luck; only people who haven't subscribed to either Creative Cloud Pro or Creative Cloud All Apps can grab it.
Here's how the Nvidia App describes this perk:
Adobe Creative Cloud offers a comprehensive suite of industry-standard creative tools, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, that provides seamless integration to empower anyone-from hobbyists to professionals--to bring their visions to life. You also get built-in templates to jump-start your designs and step-by-step tutorials to help you get up to speed quickly and sharpen your skills. It's your entire creative world, all in one place.
With your GeForce RTX GPU, you'll see performance boosts across select apps thanks to RTX-acceleration and NVIDIA Studio features.
If you do decide to claim this free reward, be warned. The process does involve you handing over payment details to Adobe, which will then automatically move you to a paid subscription once your free period runs out. As such, if you're not interested in continuing your sub, be sure to cancel it before your month (or two) runs out and you're billed.
On the other hand, you may instead decide not to use Adobe's tools whatsoever. In that case, you'll be in good company; in the space of a month, two of our writers cancelled their Adobe subscriptions, one of which was a supporter for five years, while the other went for a decade. Plus, you can check out these open-source alternatives to Adobe's Creative Cloud suite and get a powerful editor for the low, low price of nada.
