Once upon a time, Nvidia's main focus was gaming. If people wanted hardware to get their games running smoothly, they'd turn to "Team Green" to get the job done. Then, Nvidia got into the AI market, saw the huge paychecks it was getting as a result, and suddenly, gaming feels kind of like a side gig for the company instead of its main thing.

Well, it seems that Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, has finally found some time away from the AI business to speak his thoughts about what's going on in the gaming scene. It seems he, too, is really excited about the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, and he has some excellent things to say about it.

As spotted by WccfTech, Jensen Huang starred on the Nintendo of America channel to talk about the Switch 2. It's a rare sight where you can watch Nvidia's CEO discuss business and tech without bringing up AI.

The chip inside Nintendo Switch 2 is unlike anything we've built before. It brings together three breakthroughs. The most advanced graphics ever in a mobile device. Full hardware ray tracing, high dynamic range for brighter highlights and deeper shadows.

And an architecture that supports backward compatibility, dedicated AI processors to sharpen, animate, and enhance gameplay in real time; and it's ultra-low power.
