I've been writing about technology for almost two decades, and I've seen my fair share of Priem Days. Like everyone else, I only like to buy stuff I actually require, which is why you'll see far more targeted deal highlights published with my byline (and the rest of the XDA team). 2025's Prime Day is almost over, but a few hours are remaining if you're late to the party and need to save some money on a few things. I've rounded up some tech I'd buy this Prime Day.
Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus Coordinator
Build the ultimate smart home
Zigbee is what you need to create the dream smart home. I never had any interest in creating such an entity at home until I realized just how versatile (and useful!) Home Assistant is. Zigbee is a local wireless communication protocol, similar to but separate from Wi-Fi, designed for lower-power and low-data networking between devices. But because your router won't host a Zigbee network, you'll need a separate dongle to handle the heavy lifting. It's on sale for $29.99, down from its usual $39.99, and can handle everything that uses the protocol.

The Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus is a great coordinator for a Zigbee network, featuring a powerful transmitter and great support with both Zigbee Home Automation in Home Assistant and with Zigbee2MQTT.
Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9070 XT
AMD made the best GPU in years
The GPU market continues to be a mess, but there are some good deals for Prime Day. AMD launched the excellent RX 9070 XT earlier this year with FSR 4 and other technologies to take the fight back to Nvidia and offer something that doesn't lag too far behind. Sapphire's Pulse RX 9070 XT may not be the precise card I'm using inside my PC for 4K gaming, but it will perform about as good as the GPU I own, and you can be sure you'll enjoy some stellar experiences with a $80 discount.

Grab yourself a 4K gaming machine for almost $700. This is a good price for such a capable GPU with support for AMD's latest FSR 4 technology.
My favorite mouse
Usually, I don't like to recommend mice and keyboards since they're usually among the most subjective peripherals one can buy, but you really have to try the Keychron M3 Mini 4K Metal Edition. This thing is currently on sale for just $75, a full 25% off the MSRP of $100. I love this mouse more than anything I've used before, thanks to its lightweight design, high build quality, and excellent performance. You'll struggle to find a better mouse at this price.

Weight 64 g
Sensor PixArt 3395
Battery 600 mAh
Maximum acceleration 50 g
Color Options Black
I've never been one to pick and choose between mice. I used to buy a Razer and call it a day. That was until I tried countless pointers and ended up sticking with the M3 Mini 4K Metal Edition from Keychron.
Fikwot Jupiter FX991
Store all the things!
If you're still using a mechanical drive or some other SATA SSD, you'll want to consider an upgrade to a PCIe Gen 4 drive, and I've got the deal for you. This Fikwot Jupiter FX991 is on sale right now for less than $200. That may sound like quite a lot to pay for an SSD, but this has 4TB of capacity and can hit speeds of more than 7,000 MB/s, making it a solid Prime Day deal. Gen 5 drives are here, but PCIe 4 SSDs continue to offer a sweet spot for gamers and PC owners.

More than 7,000 MB/s? Check! Less than $200? Check! Store up to 4TB of data? You bet! What a steal for this Prime Day.
TerraMaster F4-423
And a 4TB NAS HDD
Ready to take your storage game to the next level? You'll need a network-attached storage (NAS) device to achieve this. That's where the TerraMaster F4-423 comes into play. This Prime Day deal is an absolute steal, saving 20% on the already reduced price, and while this may not be the latest and greatest NAS from the brand, the F4-423 has everything you need to store some files and run apps. Note that, like all other NAS enclosures, there aren't any drives included, but you can also find some on sale right now.

Brand TerraMaster
CPU Intel Celeron N5095
Memory 4GB DDR4 (max. 32GB)
Drive Bays 4
Expansion 2x M.2 PCIe 3.0
An Intel CPU, 4GB of RAM, four drive bays, and a decent OS make this one of the best NAS deals you can find right now.

4TB of NAS capacity in a compact and more affordable package, thanks to Prime Day. Store all the things and more with your enclosure and a few WD Red Plus drives.
Glovary N100 6L
Build your own firewall
Still using your ISP router? It's time for a change! Become a networking guru with the Glovary N100 6L, rocking 6 2.5Gb network ports and a capable Intel processor. Install OPNsense on the box and you'll have a powerful firewall with scope for installing plugins and configuring your own VPN, DDNS, and more. Usually, you'd be expected to pay around $300, but it's on sale for Prime Day at just $235, including RAM and storage!

This Prime Day deal doesn't just include the firewall itself but also 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, which are both more than enough for running OPNsense.
CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 Starter Kit
Learn something new
For not much more than the retail price of an 8GB Raspberry Pi 5 itself, you can snag the SBC along with (almost) everything you need to get it up and running. This package includes the 8GB Raspberry Pi 5 itself, along with all the necessary accessories. You can add a keyboard, mouse, and a display to get started with creating projects, doing a little coding, and creating cool devices with the SBC. A high-speed 128GB microSD card comes preloaded with Raspberry Pi OS, and the kit usually sells for $160, but Amazon has 15% knocked off the price during its Prime Day event.
