Shares of Urban Outfitters Inc. rallied after hours on Wednesday after the clothing retailer reported first-quarter results that topped Wall Street’s estimates, marked by a sales rebound at its struggling namesake stores and little tariff-related anxiety so far.
Executives at the company — which runs the Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People chains — also said that “gently and sparingly” raising prices, as a last resort, is among the plans it has in place to offset the ongoing trade tensions.
