Teamgroup's MP44S 2TB SSD is made for the 2230 form factor, allowing it to fit into handheld PCs like the ROG Ally and Steam Deck. This sweet discount drops to down to $141 for a limited time.

M.2 SSDs are the only way to go if you're looking for storage with great performance. Unfortunately, you can't just stick any M.2 SSD into a PC gaming handheld, and will instead need to rely on a specific model to make it work. Luckily, M.2 2230 SSDs have been coming down in price over the past year or so, and we're now seeing a good deal on this 2TB chip that's just $141.

Need a storage upgrade? You probably want an M.2 SSD, and these are the best options you can find right now.

What's great about this Teamgroup 2TB M.2 SSD?

This is one of the more affordable M.2 SSDs that we've reviewed and actually liked. The Teamgroup MP44S SSD delivers excellent value thanks to its price and performance. It comes in two sizes, and this 2TB model is down to one of its best prices yet from Newegg for $141.

When it comes to performance, Teamgroup shares that this SSD should be able to reach maximum read speeds of up to 5,000MB/s, and also delivers write speeds of up to 3,500MB/s. While this isn't the fastest drive on the market, it should be plenty quick for a gaming handheld.

However, if you're looking to do huge file transfers with this drive, be forewarned that the performance isn't going to be the greatest. That's where the trade off comes in with a drive like this. Of course, the price reflects this, and it still offers excellent bang for your buck at its current price. You can get all the details by checking out our in-depth review for the full details about this drive.

For the most part, not a bad SSD to pick up if you're looking to get lots of storage for cheap. You can always opt for a microSD card, but you're going to be paying the same price or more for something of this size. So we definitely recommend going with the M.2 SSD while it's at this price.
