Ahead of its July 23 premiere, Apple has shared the trailer for the final season of Acapulco, one of its first bilingual series. Watch it below.
A familiar face from Ted Lasso returns
Acapulco premiered in 2021, and it has performed consistently well throughout its three seasons. The show blends nostalgia, humor, and a very Almodóvar-adjacent color palette to deliver a heartfelt comedy about life at a luxury resort in 1980s Mexico.
As for what to expect from the final season, here’s Apple:
“In season four, present-day Máximo (Eugenio Derbez) works tirelessly to restore Las Colinas to its former glory before the grand reopening. In 1986, when a competitor claims the number one spot in the annual ranking of Acapulco’s ‘Best Hotels,’ young Máximo (Enrique Arrizon) will do whatever it takes to get back on top and secure Las Colinas’ future.”
The cast for the new season includes Cristo Fernández (Ted Lasso, Venom: The Last Dance), Keyla Monterroso Mejia (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Studio), Fernando Carsa, and Vanessa Bauche. Jack McBrayer (30 Rock, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) also makes a special guest appearance.
Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
