Trump says Qatar agrees to buy 160 Boeing jets

Boeing (NYSE:BA) +1.7% in Wednesday's trading to a 52-week high of $209.65 after Qatar agrees to buy 160 of the company's jets, valued at more than $200B, the White House said in a post on X.

The agreement for the Qatar Airways purchase was signed during President Trump's visit to the country; Boeing (NYSE:BA) CEO Kelly Ortberg attended the ceremony with Trump and Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
