The megabill that’s bound for the president’s desk contains tax breaks that could save some Americans — including tipped workers, employees working overtime, car buyers, seniors and certain homeowners — hundreds or potentially thousands of dollars.

The tax and spending bill passed the House of Representatives on Thursday in a 218-214 vote after all-night negotiations. That followed a marathon Senate session earlier this week.
