Citigroup (NYSE:C) is set to collaborate with the investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ:CG) for the provision of asset-backed financing opportunities to fintech specialty lenders.

The two companies have formalized a framework to exchange market intelligence and explore co-investment and financing opportunities.
