If you've been eying up the Galaxy Z Fold 7 but have been put off by the device's hefty price tag, then you're in luck. The official Samsung Store has just brought back an incredible deal that hasn't been seen since the device was available for preorder a few months ago.

It's an excellent combination of a free storage upgrade alongside either a trade-in rebate of up to $1,000 or an instant $300 price cut.

What makes this deal so compelling, aside from the fact that it's available on an unlocked device, is that you get something regardless of whether you're trading in or not. Not looking to trade? Then you'll still get a 512GB device for just $1,699 right now.

Conversely, if you do have a decent device ready to hand over, then you can get a Galaxy Z Fold 7 for just $999 here. Either way, you're potentially getting a lot of phone for your money here.

Samsung's best foldable device yet

We're big fans of the Fold 7 here at TechRadar; so much so that we awarded the device an impressive four and a half stars out of five when we reviewed it earlier this year.

While expensive, it's undoubtedly the best foldable device yet from the brand, with its stunningly thin design, expanded 8-inch main display, and impressive 200MP camera. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset provides plenty of power, while the latest AI features are surprisingly useful - if somewhat still in their infancy.

Combined, these selling points make the Fold 7 a niche buy, but one that we absolutely recommend if you can take full advantage of the expansive screen real estate.
