Apple’s big iPhone 17 Pro launch event isn’t too far away now, and recently the number of dummy models showing what to expect from the new lineup have been improving. The latest offers a great look at what the iPhone 17 Pro might look like in black, with a redesigned ‘camera bar’ and repositioned Apple logo.
Black iPhone 17 Pro dummy model shows camera bar, repositioned logo
Earlier this week, leaker Majin Bu shared video of an iPhone 17 Air dummy model in a beautiful black finish.
The video made me especially excited for Apple’s ultra-thin new model.
But today, Bu is back with a similarly space gray-like iPhone 17 Pro model.
Two photos of the dummy model were posted on X, and they include a great preview of what the redesigned back could look like with camera bar and repositioned Apple logo.
Even though the iPhone 17 Pro isn’t expected to get thicker this year like the 17 Pro Max will, you can still see a stark contrast between the thickness of the Pro and Air models.
9to5Mac’s Take
From all the renders and dummy models we’ve see so far, I think Apple’s new camera bar design for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max looks especially good in dark finishes.
Images I’ve seen of lighter models are fine. But these are the first images I’ve seen that make me think the new camera bar might even look better than last year’s smaller camera bump. And for me at least, the new Apple logo position works well.
What do you think of these new iPhone 17 Pro images? Do the camera bar or moved Apple logo bother you? Let us know in the comments.
