Need a new keyboard and want to treat yourself to something a little flashy with optical sensors and other bells and whistles? SteelSeries has you covered with the excellent Apex Pro. But what if you didn't want the numpad? That's where the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 comes in with its adjustable actuation points, rapid trigger support, presets, OLED screen, and PBT keycaps. There's plenty to appreciate, and I haven't even mentioned the price. It can be yours for $180 ahead of Prime Day.

Why the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL is a good deal
SteelSeries may have a slightly tarnished rep for a few mishaps that occurred over the years, but the company is still responsible for some exceptionally good keyboards and mice. I remember trying the first Apex Pro TKL back in 2019 at Computex, and it blew me away. It's currently on its third generation, and the company has improved many parts of what made the original so good. There's even a tenkeyless version, which is great for anyone who doesn't require the numpad.
It's the adjustable actuation, which sets this apart from a traditional mechanical keyboard. With a standard keyboard, you'd have to swap switches and other parts to adjust actuation — when the keystroke is registered. That's not the case with the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL. This thing allows you to adjust and fine-tune the actuation on the fly, and I'm not talking about a few different values. You can individually customize each key so that it responds differently.
Because this is a third-gen keyboard, SteelSeries is using its OMNIPOINT 3 switches with Hall Effect for super-fast actuation and response times. 40 different levels can be adjusted per game. It's also wired, so you won't have to worry about latency or other issues that can arise from those types of input devices. Although a slightly pricey proposition for typing up a few thousand-word documents and playing some games, you have to try the Apex Pro to notice how much of a difference it makes.
Note that this is a limited deal, and once all units are gone, this discount will likely come to a close. I don't expect it to be long until all units are sold.
